Experience the magic of a Pub Night in Ireland! Visit a traditional Irish pub and listen to Irish Music. Dublin offers many traditional pubs, make sure to attend one of our ‘Pub Nights’ during your course at DCU! Note: Minimum age for attendance is 18 years.

There are many indoor and outdoor shopping centres and shopping streets, offering excellent value and all of the latest fashion trends! Make sure to take a shopping trip during your programme.
Museum And Gallery visits
Ireland has a rich tradition of history and we regularly offer Museum and gallery visits for students to learn about our heritage. Destinations include Kilmainham Jail, National History Museum, National Gallery and many more. Note: Fees apply for some trips.
Learn Other Languages
Students are invited to join on a series of once-off classes to learn the basics of other languages. These classes are run by DCU Staff members and fellow international students alike. Languages offered include: Irish, Polish, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic and French.

Rugby is a very popular sport in Ireland. The sport is a combination of football and American football and thousands of Irish people play the game of rugby. Come along to a Tag Rugby class and learn the basic skills of rugby – have fun and make lots of new friends!
Dublin City Centre Tour
Take a walking tour of Dublin City Centre, led by a DCU guide. This tour is a great way for students to learn about Dublin City, and will serve as your compass for life in Dublin. You’ll find out where museums, shopping streets, restaurants and other great attractions are located!
Interview Skills
Ballyvary Ireland Ballyvary, Mayo, MayoLearn essential interview skills and improve your employment prospects. In this activity you will practise the most common interview questions, and learn the right vocabulary and phrases to impress the employer.
SCHOOL PARTIES
We regularly offer parties for our students on campus at DCU during the year, including Halloween Party, Christmas Party and Summer Party. These are always great fun, and often 'Fancy Dress' is encouraged! Come along and have fun.
CROKE PARK MUSEUM
Croke Park is one of Europe's largest stadium with a capacity of 82.300! This is a great chance to discover the rich history of Gaelic games.
FILM AFTERNOONS
Each week we will show a new film at DCU. Films will be of different genres, from animation to Irish historical to modern day comedy films. Attend a Film Afternoon, make new friends and develop your listening skills – a great way to learn about understanding accents!
CAMPUS TREASURE HUNTING
You and your team will be asking DCU students questions and finding out the answers. Come along and take part in this activity.

Outside the Interfaith CentreWe regularly arrange Irish Dancing events. Learn about the tradition of Irish Dancing, the music, the costume and the people. Participants will also be invited to take part and to try Irish Dancing for themselves! This is a very popular event.
