Students enrolled on one of the DCU International Academy’ programmes listed on the Internationalization Register are required to attend external examinations (IELTS or Cambridge).
- Students will be required to take an external examination (IELTS or Cambridge).
- DCU International Academy will enrol these students to a suitable examination session at an appropriate exam centre in Dublin.
- Students are required to sign an agreement with DCUIA stating that they will attend the examination. In return DCUIA is obliged to arrange and register the student for their exam.
DCU International Academy will hold regular information sessions to explain details of this process. These sessions cover points such as:
- Exam format
- Recognition of the exam
- Grading system
- Validity
Note: dates of exams are limited and might not necessary to coincide with DCUIA exam course dates.
