October 12th, 2023 english
Professor Daire Keogh, President of Dublin City University, delivered a welcome address to a large group of international students. The event, held at the U building on DCU’s Glasnevin campus, brought together students from over 26 countries, highlighting the rich diversity that defines the university’s academic environment.
A Global Welcome
During his speech, Professor Daire Keogh highlighted DCU’s dedication to offering world-class education and support to international students. He affirmed the university’s role as a global village that creates a welcoming environment for students from diverse backgrounds. He is also looking forward to seeing them progress to their undergraduate degree next year.

Pathway to University
The International Foundation programme is designed for international students who need to improve their English language skills and prepare for university studies via intensive academic modules linked to their chosen undergraduate degree.
Whilst it is an intensive programme, our teachers and support staff are on hand to guide them. We look forward to seeing them progress to their chosen undergraduate degrees at DCU in September 2024.
