Our Adult Language Courses are delivered on weekdays (Monday to Friday). Courses may be scheduled in the morning (AM) or in the afternoon (PM), or may vary between morning and afternoon allocation.
The morning and afternoon schedules are outlined below.
Please note: Morning classes start at 09.00hrs. Afternoon classes start at 14.00hrs.
Customised content, part-time courses, additional modules and similar are generally timetabled to afternoons.
Classrooms are assigned to language students on a weekly basis by the DCU’s classroom allocation department. This department allocates rooms to all university faculties and departments, undergraduate and post graduate programmes, conferences etc.
Student-classroom allocation may change from time to time in order to meet university requirements. Like undergraduate and post- graduate university students, language students may receive their tuition in more than one classroom.
National and Christmas Holidays
DCUIA is closed for all public bank holidays. The school is also closed for approximately two weeks over the Christmas period.
Please note that students are not compensated for tuition hours lost as a result of public or bank holidays.
