Our Adult Language Courses are delivered on weekdays (Monday to Friday). Courses may be scheduled in the morning (AM), afternoon (PM), or may vary between morning and afternoon allocation.
Morning classes are generally scheduled from 09:00 to 13:00, while afternoon classes are generally scheduled from 14:00 to 18:00.

Customised content, part-time courses, additional modules and similar classes may be scheduled at different times, including afternoons, early evenings or, where applicable, Saturday mornings.
Classrooms are assigned through DCU’s centralised timetabling system, which allocates teaching spaces across the University. Most DCU International Academy classes take place on the DCU Glasnevin Campus.
During peak periods, classes and activities may also take place at other nominated DCU or satellite locations. Students may also receive tuition in more than one classroom during their programme, and classroom allocations may change from time to time to meet University requirements.
Junior programmes are scheduled separately according to individual programme requirements and may operate across a seven-day timetable.
Public Holidays and Christmas Closure
DCU International Academy is closed on public holidays, Good Friday and for approximately two weeks over the Christmas period.
Students are not compensated for tuition hours lost as a result of public or bank holidays.
