The Interim List of Eligible Programmes (ILEP) identifies programmes that meet the requirements for the recruitment of non-EEA/non-Swiss students who require study visas and/or immigration permission in Ireland. TrustEd Ireland, the statutory quality mark administered by Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI), is currently superseding the ILEP.
Students who require immigration permission to study in Ireland should ensure that their chosen programme is eligible under the applicable Irish immigration requirements. Eligible programmes can currently be found on the ILEP and the TrustEd Ireland list of eligible programmes.
Irish education providers recruiting international students are subject to requirements relating to quality assurance, student immigration compliance and, where applicable, learner protection.
