The Interim List of Eligible Programmes (ILEP), operated by Immigration Service Delivery in the Department of Justice, establishes criteria and requirements for English language programme providers in Ireland to accept non-EEA national students into the country (the complete list of eligible programmes can be found on the Immigration’s website).
It is a mandatory Irish Immigration requirement for providers to have adequate learner protection arrangements in place in the event of programme termination and/or school closure. However, designated awarding bodies like DCU (Dublin City University) are exempt from learner protection requirements. DCU, being a public university fully accredited by the Irish government, ensures the security and quality of our student’s education. While we fall under this exemption, we remain fully committed to the provision of learner protection, assuring you that your course fees and well-being are safeguarded.
