Arty, bohemian Galway is one of Ireland’s most engaging cities. Brightly painted pubs heave with live music, while restaurants and cafes offer front-row seats for observing buskers and street theatre. Remains of the medieval town walls lie between shops selling handcrafted Claddagh rings, books, and musical instruments and a long promenade leads to the seaside suburb of Salthill, on Galway Bay, the source of the area’s famous oysters.  This trip is not to be missed!

This Morning we will explore the medieval history of Dublin!

The tour will start at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Ireland’s largest church, and then on to see the wonderful outer architecture of Christ Church Cathedral.

After a quick photo stop, we will move on towards Dublin Castle, the Temple Bar area and lastly, Trinity College, Ireland’s oldest University.

Howth is a charming fishing village located in the north of Dublin. We’ll take a walk around the Howth Summit where we can enjoy scenic views of the cliffs, islands, and lighthouses. Then we head back to Howth village and enjoy a gentle stroll along the pier, past some of the best fish restaurants in Ireland.

At lunchtime, we can either grab something quick from the fish & chips shops or try some of the wonderful food at the Howth Market! You will have plenty of time to look around and enjoy the seaside village.

In addition to the famous figures that we are used to seeing in wax museums, the National Wax Museum also features the Time Vaults of Irish History and Mythology. This area recreates Ireland’s cultural heritage down through the ages. You will get up close and personal with a huge array of historical figures. Become completely immersed in Irish Historical with an experience of sight, sound, and smell.

Go from the Fantasy World where you can see Harry Potter, Mad-Eye Moody, Santa Claus, and many more to the Chamber of Horror where Bram Stoker’s Dracula sleeps and Hannibal from Silence of the Lambs is kept imprisoned.

We will visit the wonderful Chester Beatty library located within the Dubhlinn Gardens on the grounds of Dublin Castle: once the private library of Sir Alfred Chester Beatty (1875 – 1968), a successful American mining engineer, collector, and philanthropist. Described by Lonely Planet as ‘not just the best museum in Ireland but one of the best in Europe’, the Chester Beatty is the pre-eminent Irish museum promoting the appreciation and understanding of world cultures with holdings of manuscripts, rare books, and other treasures from Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia. An engaging and welcoming space, visitors from Ireland and overseas will find permanent and temporary displays, an intercultural learning programme, and a broad variety of public activities for all ages and backgrounds. 

The museum also hosts the fabulous Spice Road Asian cafe. 

Wicklow is also known as “The Garden County” for its beautiful nature.  Join us as we visit Glendalough “the valley of the two lakes”.

IMMA is the home of the national collection of contemporary and modern art and aims to provide an enjoyable and engaging experience of art in Ireland.

This museum is based in the Royal Hospital Kilmainham, one of the most beautiful buildings in Dublin City. The museum is surrounded by beautiful, breathtaking gardens you can walk around on a Summers day

The Cliff Walk from Bray to Greystones is one of Bray’s most popular attractions for visitors and local people. The coastal walk goes along the side of Bray Head and has some of the most stunning views on the East Coast.

The Cliff Walk is 7 KM starting from the Promenade in Bray and finishing at Greystones Harbour. The walk takes about 2 hours and is suitable for all levels. The Cliff Walk follows the rail line so you can conveniently return to Bray on the Dart enjoying the view from the comfort of the train!
