Arrival Day Prep

Have your first-night address ready to show at immigration (if asked)

Keep key documents in your hand luggage (not your checked bag)
Phone & Connectivity

Make sure your phone is unlocked (if you plan to use a local SIM/eSIM)

Download WhatsApp (we use this as a messaging platform in Ireland)

Save key contacts (school office / emergency number / accommodation contact)
Clothing & Shoes

Comfortable clothes for classes and activities

A light rain jacket or hoodie (very important!)

Warm layers – even in summer

Comfortable walking shoes or trainers

For Classes
You don’t need much – just the basics:

Plug adaptor (Ireland uses Type G – the same as the UK)

A small amount of cash for the first day (snacks, top-ups, etc.)
