Erasmus Individuals

Erasmus+ Programmes

For Individual Participants

Erasmus+ is the European Union’s funding programme for Education, Training, Youth, and Sport. First launched in 1987, the current programme (2021-2027) provides approximately €9 billion funding for collaborative projects, as well as €20 billion for individual mobility grants for teachers and learners.

Why participate in an Erasmus+ project at DCU?

Participation in an Erasmus+ project helps build international networks. You will gain valuable experience in international collaboration and develop excellence in your field.

At DCU we excel at Erasmus+, developing excellence, creativity, and innovation in education and training. We collaborate with national, European, and international partners in a wide range of funded activities and projects.

We especially welcome cooperation with primary, secondary and third-level teachers, along with educational administrators and national associations / government bodies.

DCU’s Institute of Education is Ireland’s leading education training college, and thus DCU has superior expertise in training and continuous professional development for participants from the education industry. For details about DCU IOE see: https://www.dcu.ie/instituteofeducation
